Where can I find the factory presets and sounds associated with the plugins? (Mac and Windows) ?

On macOS, factory content for all of our plugins is located in the folder: /Library/Application Support/DataMind Audio.

On Windows, factory content for the Combobulator and Concatenator is located in the folder: C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\DataMind Audio. Factory content for the Refractalizer on Windows is located in the folder C:\ProgramData\DataMind Audio.

Note: Both the AppData and ProgramData folders are hidden by default on Windows. To access them, type the path manually into the Windows Explorer address bar.

Where do I find presets I have made myself?

On macOS, presets you have made yourself are located in the folder: /Users/[username]/Library/Application Support/DataMind Audio.

On Windows, presets you have made yourself are located in the folder: C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\DataMind Audio.

I have lost my serial login details, how can I access them?

You will need to reset your password on our website. If you cannot remember the username or email address associated with your account, please email [email protected] and we will do our best to assist you.

How do I uninstall the plugins?

To uninstall the plugins, you simply need to delete the relevant files from your computer. Below is a list of all folders that we make use of on both macOS and Windows.

Troubleshooting a crash - where to send the crash reports?

If you do encounter a crash or bug, please send the crash reports either to [email protected] or to the bug reports channel for the relevant plugin on our Discord server. When submitting a bug report, please include both the plugin log file and OS/DAW crash report along with detailed instructions on how to reproduce the issue. A quick screen recording of the bug in action is also very useful.

Can I suggest a feature request for the plugin?

Yes! You’re welcome to either send feature requests to [email protected] or post a message on our Discord server where you can also talk to the developers and get access to early beta builds of the plugins. We have dedicated feature request channels for each plugin.

How do I get the plugin once I’ve bought it?

Download the installer from My Account > Downloads and run it.

Which OS version is best for the plugin use?

Our plugins support both macOS and Windows. So long as you have a reasonably recent OS version there should be no difference between using macOS and Windows. We usually support Windows 10 or newer and macOS 10.15 or newer but check the system requirements for the specific plugin to be sure.

I am a student. Do you offer any educational discounts?

Yes, please email [email protected] with proof of your student status and we will issue you an educational discount code.

Can the plugins be installed on 2 computers using the same details?

Yes, you can install the plugins on multiple devices using the same account details. There is a limit of 10 devices per account. In the rare case that you need more than 10 devices or you need to reset your device activations you can email [email protected] for assistance.

If I buy the Explorer Bundle, do I use the same serial number for all the products?

Yes, authentication for all of our products is tied to your datamindaudio.ai account and not a specific serial number. Simply enter the same username and password in every product to activate it.
